Leap Orbit was founded with a simple belief: that technology should be built for the people who use it, and the patients they serve.
This week, that mission takes a big leap forward.
We’re proud to announce that Leap Orbit has acquired the prescription monitoring business of Okaki Health Intelligence, and with it, launched our new Canadian subsidiary headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. With this move, Leap Orbit becomes Canada’s largest and only cross-provincial PMP (prescription monitoring program) provider, operating live in multiple provinces—including the country’s first bilingual PMP in New Brunswick.
But this milestone isn’t about us. It’s about who we’re here to support.
Whether you’re a care coordinator reviewing a patient’s medication history...
A clinician trying to make a fast, safe prescribing decision...
Or a public health official designing programs to prevent overdose...
You’ve told us that the old systems were too slow.
That logging in to a separate portal breaks your clinical flow.
That you need more than just controlled substance data.
That patient risk doesn’t always come with a label.
We’ve listened—and acted.
With our expansion into Alberta and beyond, we’re bringing Canadian clients:
If you’re already working with us in New Brunswick—you’ve seen the difference this makes.
If you’re a provincial health agency or clinical leader looking for more than legacy tools—we’re here, and we’re growing with you.
We know Canada is not the U.S.—and it shouldn’t be treated like it.
Our solutions are built with Canadian public health values in mind: privacy, ethics, equity, and accessibility. That’s why we designed RxGov to be:
We’re not just exporting U.S. software. We’re investing in a Canadian future—with a Canadian team, Canadian data governance, and a long-term commitment to partnership.
This isn’t the finish line. It’s a launchpad.
From our new headquarters in Alberta, we’ll continue collaborating with health leaders across the country to modernize how prescription data is used—not just for compliance, but to inform care, protect communities, and save lives.
If you’re a provider, policymaker, or patient advocate looking for real-world, responsible innovation—we want to hear from you.
