Free Access to RxConnections for Rural Hospitals

PDMP Access for All is a 6-month, no-cost pilot offering rural health systems in Kentucky and Illinois access to RxConnections, Leap Orbit’s EMR-embedded PDMP integration. The program enables clinicians to complete mandatory PDMP checks without leaving their workflow. By promoting vendor choice and reducing administrative burden, the pilot aims to help rural clinics comply more efficiently while focusing limited resources on patient care.

Who Can Apply:

  • Critical access hospitals (CAH) located in Kentucky or Illinois
  • Rural hospitals located in Kentucky or Illinois
  • Eligible facilities must be using a FHIR-capable EMR system

  • Implementation support and onboarding from Leap Orbit’s technical team
  • Training resources for clinicians and staff

Expectations of Participants:

  • Participate in initial onboarding and training sessions

Selection Process:

Applications will be reviewed based on readiness and date of application. All applicants will be notified of acceptance or waitlist status.
