About the Pilot Program

PDMP Access for All - RxConnections Rural Pilot Program

Purpose

To equip rural health systems in Kentucky and Illinois with integrated PDMP access directly in their EHR, removing workflow barriers and improving safe prescribing. Hospitals receive access at no cost for the duration of the pilot.

Who Can Apply:

  • Critical access hospitals (CAH) located in Kentucky or Illinois
  • Rural hospitals located in Kentucky or Illinois
  • Eligible facilities must be using a FHIR-capable EHR system

What's Included:

Expectations of Participants:

  • Participate in initial onboarding and training sessions
  • Use the integrated PDMP system during the pilot
  • Provide feedback and results

Selection Process:

Applications will be reviewed based on readiness and date of application. All applicants will be notified of acceptance or waitlist status.
